  Chart: Recommended Daily Consumption

Your Whey

As a Gastric Bypass patient, I have to be sure I get at least 75 grams of protein daily. This amount is depending on your doctor’s recommendations and varies. When you are only able to consume 3-4 ounces of food or liquid at any one time, this can be challenging. Consequently, everything you put in your mouth is scrutinized for it’s nutritional value. That is what is so great about “Your Whey” Protein. It has absolutely no flavor and it mixes well into almost any recipe. I have used it myself in everything from fresh fruit smoothies to mashed potatoes to yogurt. I even baked it right into my famous Pumpkin Pie for the Holidays. Not one person tasted a difference. As usual, mine was the first pie gone and I had many requests for me to bring it for Christmas.

As a new business owner, I have given out many samples and everyone who has tried it raves about this brand. I do gift baskets with samples for new bariatric patients and I sell the protein drinks/bars and other items bariatric patients need on my web site. I haven’t needed to place a stock order for any other brand, but this one. I have customers who have literally begged me for more samples to hold them over until the order comes in.

One of my customers is a new gastric bypass patient. She has tried many different types of protein and because she became lactose intolerant after the surgery, which is pretty common, she is unable to use most of the protein drinks out there as they are usually made with milk. She has also tried many of the proteins that don’t require milk but she says they leave an aftertaste. This customer came to me asking what she should do. I handed her a sample of “Your Whey” and she has thanked me over and over again. She adds it to her fruit juice or diet drinks (although it is not recommended for drinks high in acidity or for soda) everyday and is now meeting her protein requirements.

One of my other customers is not even a gastric bypass patient. She has been trying to lose the 20 extra lbs she has gained since menopause. She has always walked at least 2 miles a day, so exercise was not a factor, and she has always watched what she has consumed. Her problem was she skipped breakfast, as she can’t seem to face eating in the morning. As any dieter knows, this is the absolute worse thing you can do to your body. I suggested she try drinking a low calorie fruit smoothie in the morning, made with fresh fruit, milk, and “Your Whey” protein. When dieting and exercising, protein is a must. Your body uses it to help build lean muscle and it keeps you feeling fuller longer. In a little less than a month, with no change to her exercise routine or her eating habits other than breakfast, she has lost 10 lbs.

I can’t say it enough. “Your Whey” protein is versatile and mixes well, all with no gritty or bitter aftertaste. I not only resell this product, I use it myself. In the past year, I have lost 147lbs. Can you imagine! That’s a whole person.

Keep in mind, you can’t build a house just because you want to and wish you had one. You have to have the knowledge, tools and supplies needed. The same applies to weight loss. Gastric Bypass surgery is a weight loss tool, but like most tools it does not do anything without some effort.
