Your Whey

When we were in the design phases of Your Whey, our goal was to create a product that would maximize versatility and reach a much larger target market than your average whey protein product. Whey protein was introduced to the U.S. market as mainly a fitness supplement and has since flooded that entire industry. However, over the past 5 - 10 years, numerous studies have emerged showing that whey protein provides just as many health benefits to people of all ages and activity levels whether they exercise or not.

As we all know, whey protein has much to offer fitness enthusiasts, body builders, athletes, etc; Whey protein absorbs into your body faster than any other protein available- which means it gets to work almost immediately repairing and rebuilding your muscles. That is why most whey protein products are designed and formulated specifically for that groupmarket..

Did you know that doctors now believe that whey protein can help treat patients struggling with A-D-D? Apparently regular consumption of high quality proteins will improve their ability to stay focused and alert. In addition to this, doctors are now recommending use of protein to a long list of other patients as well- including people with high stress, diabetes, cancer, weight issues, gout, patients recovering from various types of surgery, and much more. With all this in mind, our goal was to create a product that would increase awareness about whey protein and have a broader target market.

We are proud to say that we have achieved our goal and now have the most diverse customer base in the whey protein industry. Our customers include; gastric bypass recovery patients (and other types of surgery), retirement homes, parents with young children who don’t get enough protein, cancer patients, vegetarians, pro & amateur body builders, people with down’s syndrome, fitness enthusiasts, diabetics, people focusing on weight management, children with A-D-D, gyms, health food stores, doctors offices, nutrition education clinics, weight loss clinics, Sports injury rehab facilities….and many more.

Yes, there may be a large difference between the two. Whey protein isolate is the most pure and concentrated form of whey protein available. It contains 90% or more protein and very little (if any) fat and lactose. Whey protein concentrate has anywhere between 29% and 89% protein depending upon the product. As the protein level in whey protein concentrate decreases the amounts of fat and/or lactose usually increase.
